2 Guys at Starbucks: That Ugly Betty chick should have to change her name. You shouldn't be allowed to be named after a country, especially this one.
Me: Sorry, I couldn't help but overhear, did you just say that America Ferrera should have to change her name?
2G@*$: Yeah man, you don't agree? People shouldn't be allowed to be named after the USA.
Me: Well, I mean, no offense, but do you know how this country even got it's name in the first place?
2G@*$: Yeah, the Native Americans. Everyone knows that. That's why you're not supposed to call them "Indians".
Me: It's named after Amerigo Vespucci, a 15th century Italian explorer. "America" is the female form of his name.
2G@*$: That's bullshit, how can AMERICA be named after an ITALIAN? What are you, some kind of Nazi?
Me: The Nazi's were German.
